מהלך כל הישAll Being Is Built on Return

mahalakh kol ha-yeshIn Gamatria ↗

The whole descent of creation already carries its ascent.

In chapter 11 return becomes the structure of the cosmos. All existence appears as a descent from divinity into worldliness, a humbling or 'death' greater than any other fall, set by supernal justice before anything was formed. Yet the source of the highest ascent is hidden inside this descent, bound into it before time itself. Things clarify and regain their strength through the human spirit, whose portion is return and which serves as a model for all being. Citing Psalm 90 ('You return man to dust and say: return, children of Adam'), Kook links the great cosmic return to the return of each person and each community.
