The stone refused twice became the corner.

The fear of the LORD is identified with the first, hidden light. From its brilliance God took one part in two thousand and built from it a beautiful precious stone, with all the commandments contained in it. Abraham asked for a power and was offered the stone. He did not want it, and he received kindness instead. Isaac also turned it down and received might, the 'fear of Isaac'. Jacob wanted the stone but was told to stand in the middle and take all three, which means peace and truth. That is Psalm 118:22: the stone the builders, Abraham and Isaac, rejected became the cornerstone.
