The first form is all window and no face.

Within the space the first emanated being appears: Adam Kadmon, 'primordial to all the primordial', filling the space from end to end. The constriction itself produced vessels. A vessel is called that only in relation to the light inside it, and it is utterly pure. Of Adam Kadmon's inner essence 'we have no permission to speak'. We speak only of what goes out from it, through openings: ears, nose, mouth and eyes. Vital insists there is no body above. Human figures and letters are used only 'to settle the ear', as Scripture itself speaks of God's eyes and hearing.
