כמוך ממשExactly as Yourself

kamokha mamashIn Gamatria ↗

Love him as yourself: no difference, no tricks.

Next, sins between people. Wounding words: do not remind a penitent of his past, or tell a sufferer, as Job's friends did, that the innocent never perish. Public shaming costs the world to come, and every gate is locked except the gate of the wronged. Advise as you would advise yourself, not 'sell your field for a donkey' so you can buy it. Evil speech has its dust, like praising someone before his enemies. Revenge is sweeter than honey, and the inclination bargains for some trace: help him, but coldly. So the Torah says, 'Love your neighbor as yourself,' exactly as yourself, with no tricks. Then lying, since truth is God's seal; desecrating the Name, which grows with one's standing; and Shabbat, when even business talk is forbidden. At Midian, no soldier donned head tefillin before arm tefillin.
