Your walls remember. Your bones are written.
Fear of judgment includes the witnesses who testify every day. The Talmud (Chagigah 16a) names them: the stones and beams of one's house (Habakkuk 2:11), the two ministering angels, one's own soul, one's own limbs. The Ra'aya Mehemna reads the beams as the walls of the heart and the household as the 248 limbs. A person's deeds are engraved on the bones, because black writing shows only against white. Sun and moon testify as well.
