The Highest comes in by the smallest gate.
Anavah comes from being humbled, bowed. Strikingly, the gate first finds it in God, exalted above all. Through a Tanchuma passage on 'Your humility made me great' (Psalm 18:36), de Vidas shows God adorning Eve as a bride, visiting the sick Abraham, burying Moses; telling Israel 'I have wearied you', not they Him; waiting for Ezekiel in the valley, entering by a small gate, and standing while Abraham sits.
