לעולם ה׳ דברך נצב בשמיםThe Word That Stands

le'olam hashem devarkha nitzav bashamayimIn Gamatria ↗

Say the word once and it is still being said.

'Forever, O God, Your word stands in the heavens.' The Baal Shem Tov taught that the very letters of 'Let there be a firmament' stand within the sky and keep it in being. Were they withdrawn for an instant, the heavens would return to nothing. This holds for everything, even stone, dust and water, which have a spiritual life too. The Hebrew name of each thing is its letters, derived from the ten creative utterances through permutation and substitution, and that name is the vessel for its life.
