No blade divides the spirit, only a difference of form.

How is the soul 'a part of God above', like a stone hewn from a mountain? Among things, an axe divides; in the spirit, a difference of form divides. Two who love and hate the same things are close however far apart they live; partial difference distances them, and total opposition sets them as far as east from west. The will to receive is a form the Creator does not have, so it separates the souls and makes them creatures. The light they hold is still His.
