One light, veiled five times, so that it can be received.

Reality divides into five worlds — Adam Kadmon, Atzilut, Beriah, Yetzirah, Asiyah — matching Keter, Chokhmah, Binah, Tiferet and Malkhut, and the lights Yechidah, Chayah, Neshamah, Ruach, Nefesh. All are held in the Name: the tip of the Yod is Adam Kadmon, beyond our grasp, then Yod, Heh, Vav, Heh. Each world has its own still, growing, living and speaking, and all serve the soul. The light is one; the vessels are coverings that measure it out.
