Not a second love, but the first, found again across a sea.

A soul coming for the first time is born with its mate and finds her effortlessly. A 'second pairing', which the Talmud calls as hard as splitting the sea, is not a second wife. It is the same true mate met again in a later life, when accusers above stir up quarrels before the marriage, though afterward the couple lives in peace. A man may return to win a mate he missed, his wife may be returned with him because of his merit, or the closest woman to him may come in place of his true mate. If his soul is exchanged through anger or illness, his destined mate goes to whoever now carries that soul.
