עיבור צדיקיםThe Righteous Guest

ibbur tzaddikimIn Gamatria ↗

A guest who stays only while the house is kept.

Ibbur is reincarnation during life rather than at birth. When a person does a mitzvah exactly as a past tzaddik did it, that tzaddik's nefesh or ruach (even back to Abraham) may enter him to help, as David's soul bound itself to Jonathan's. Such a guest comes by choice, takes part in the person's merits without being punished for his sins, feels none of his suffering, and leaves if he turns wicked. A second kind of ibbur comes for the tzaddik's own need. It enters only after age thirteen, does share the suffering, and leaves once it has completed what it lacked, for example a mitzvah such as redeeming a firstborn that never came its way. Only three such souls can be revealed in a person at once.
